Central TX Elev8, LLC is an Educational & Promotional Media company based in the Austin metropolitan area founded in June 2021. We are focused on maximizing the new hire onboarding experience by developing rich educational materials and programs laser-focused on the job role. This includes interactive videos, documentation packages, and hands-on onboarding programs.
The company’s Founder, David Geller, has personally designed and developed over 500 custom educational videos, documents, and interactive programs for clients within the FinTech (Financial Technology) industry with a high degree of success. The goal of Elev8 is to apply and expand the concept of these services to industries outside of the FinTech industry.
We strongly believe that a company’s most valuable resource is the employees themselves. There are too many companies who need to rely on the “sink or swim” method of new hire onboarding which results in a high level of turnover of employees within the first 4-6 weeks due to frustration with a lack of quality training related to their specific job function. This is primarily due to a lack of available internal resources. Developing and deploying onboarding programs laser-focused on the daily role responsibilities enables the new hire(s) to begin adding value to the company quicker while significantly reducing turnover due to frustration with a lack of training and guidance.
In addition to educational programs and media, Elev8 also develops promotional video media for businesses who would like to stand apart from the competition by offering more than just a look into their business through static pictures and words on a page.

David Geller, Founder
David was born in New York and moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1987. After graduating from the University of Central Florida in 1997 with a Bachelors of Science degree with a specialization in Marketing, he began working in the Financial Technology industry. He has worked as a Project Manager, Implementation Engineer, Strategic Business Advisor, and most recently a Media Developer throughout his 24-year career. Hobbies include playing guitar and fitness. David resides in Georgetown, TX, and is married with two young boys.
Chris Elias, Senior Product Development Engineer
Chris Elias worked 21 years in the broadcast media industry, with a focus on live studio sports programming. Chris began producing a live 30-minute sports show in the Tampa Bay market for BayNews9 TV – a 24-hour news channel – in 1998. In 2007, he was promoted to sports director to manage and lead a team of sports journalists launching a 24 – hour sports network, seen in the Tampa and Orlando markets. through all the years of working in the industry. Chris edited in short simple cut-to-cut formats – or long special project formats with more sophisticated tools and creative aspects.
Because of his years of editing knowledge in the broadcasting industry, Chris assists the Elev8 team with the editing development of any project Elev8 signs on to produce. Chris lives in Tampa, FL with his wife and 2 young daughters.
Paul DeMarco, Senior Relationship Manager
Paul was born and raised in New York. After attending Molloy College, Paul worked as an over-the-counter trader in NYC. He relocated to FL in 1998 where he has worked for over 20 years as an IT and client relations professional in the Financial Technology and banking industries. Paul’s business and technical experience contributed to extensive knowledge in network design for financial institutions. Hobbies include scuba diving, ice hockey and umpiring little league. Paul is a proud father of one special daughter.
Erik Smith, Senior Relationship Manager
Erik was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and raised in Southern California. After high school, he moved to Austin, Texas, planted roots, and has been there since. He went to college for computer science and renewable energy engineering. His career spanning nearly 3 decades has mostly been in sales, management, and finance. He also has worked in the solar industry as a Technical Sales Consultant/ Project Engineer and was a top performer as a Social Media Strategist for a fortune 100 company.

His diverse life experiences include trekking mountain gorillas in Rwanda, proposing to his wife in Paris, hiking glaciers, and managing people to successful careers. He will be beneficial in understanding clients’ needs and how to execute customized solutions for a smoother experience.
In his free time, Erik enjoys playing piano, billiards, hiking, swimming, live music, and travel. He is married with 5 children and resides in Austin, Texas.
